Radical Heart

(Ross Falzone)
RADICAL HEART
(Ross Falzone / Stan Webb)

It would be easy on this soul of mine
If I covered my ears and went totally blind
Slept through this life
And lived in the dark
If it wasn’t for this radical heart

And this radical heart it sees
And it cries and it breaks and it bleeds
And it makes me stand up
For what I believe
This radical heart

I could have run when I smelled the smoke
Stood still, and not rocked the boat
Gave up and drowned
When I was over my head
Act like a ‘possum and just play dead

But this radical heart it sees
And it cries and it breaks and it bleeds
And it makes me stand up
For what I believe
This radical heart

I know the sun’s gonna rise in the eastern sky
And the rivers all run to the sea
I was born to die
But what makes me alive
Is what I do in between

And my radical heart it sees
And it cries and it breaks and it bleeds
And it makes me stand up
For what I believe
This radical heart

Does your radical heart see?
Does it cry, does it break, does it bleed?
Does it make you stand up
For what you believe?
Your radical heart?

RADICAL HEART
(Ross Falzone / Stan Webb)

It would be easy on this soul of mine / If I covered my ears and went totally blind / Slept through this life / And lived in the dark / If it wasn’t for this radical heart / And this radical heart it sees / And it cries and it breaks and it bleeds / And it makes me stand up for what I believe / This radical heart

I could have run when I smelled the smoke / Stood still, and not rocked the boat /
Gave up and drowned / When I was over my head /Act like a ‘possum and just play dead / But this radical heart it sees / And it cries and it breaks and it bleeds / And it makes me stand up for what I believe / This radical heart

I know the sun’s gonna rise in the eastern sky / And the rivers all run to the sea / I was born to die / But what makes me alive / Is what I do in between

And my radical heart it sees / And it cries and it breaks and it bleeds / And it makes me stand up for what I believe / This radical heart

Does your radical heart see? / Does it cry, does it break, does it bleed? / Does it make you stand up for what you believe? / Your radical heart?
